Thank you for both replies. Ane affair that confuses me every bit you both state I demand to set ane xbox as home...… I only take one xbox, the other device is PC. So to play together set the xbox equally the 'home' even though its the merely one in the house? then "join" that from the win 10 pc.

The Home setting is what allows yous to share games with other accounts on your panel. If you purchase Minecraft for the Xbox on your account, you would need to fix the console as your Home so your son can play it from there. Or yous would need to buy information technology on your son's business relationship so yous don't have to worry about the Home setting.

Thanks for both replies. One matter that confuses me as you both land I need to set ane xbox every bit domicile...… I only have one xbox, the other device is PC. Y'all need to purchase Minecraft on the console also. Minecraft is not a playanywhere title which allows you to pay in one case and play on PC and panel.
